Seeing other people win all the time gets irritating. You begin to notice everything that they do and take them as lucky. You try to do what they do and find that they also let you have winning streaks. It’s hard not to adapt and develop superstitions when you regularly frequent a bingo hall. You can’t explain how or why, but, hey, they seem to make you win, and that’s all that matters.
